Welcome to ‘Made in Assynt’

The Made in Assynt Market is located in Lochinver,
on the scenic North West coast in the Scottish Highlands.
The markets were started in 2010 and have become
a popular fixture during the tourist season,
showcasing the work of talented craftspeople
and food producers from Assynt and
surrounding areas.

Products on offer include ceramics, knitwear,
dyed yarns, woodturning, textile art, art prints,
greeting cards, photography, weaving, aromas,
wood crafts, bags and accessories, preserves,
horn craft, charcuterie and more.

On each market date a local community group
provides delicious home baking, some savoury
food and tea/coffee to raise funds for their causes.

Come and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of our
markets, have a chat with the makers and take
home some locally made goods.
